The buffer has given me the space to read several longer stories. Which has been a nice change. I still think my favorite length for a story is right around 40k or so words. Long enough to set stuff up, not long enough to drag. If a story doesn’t fit in that you deliver it in 40k sized chunks. Anyway, that’s led to much longer reviews than the brief stories have gotten. Probably going to not do three at a time. Or maybe just two really brief ones with each long one. I’ll see how it feels as it happens.

This is a fun little FO:E parody. Nothing fall over laughing, but I chuckled more than once while reading it. Skip it if you haven’t read FO:E, but if you have and you enjoy silly stuff you should give it a read. As a side note, the image used for the cover is still one of my favorite fan images. I laugh almost every time I see it.
Kinda generic changeling story. Some funny bits, but kind of bland. One thing I really liked was that the Changeling used someling or anyling instead of somepony or anypony (spellcheck does not like this sentence). Was a nice little detail. No real worldbuilding otherwise, which as has been mentioned more than once is the main reason I enjoy Changeling stories.
Sweet shipping story. I’d like to have a story that shows their relationship forming, but like the best shipping stories if you just go with the basic relationship assumptions it does a good job pulling you into the scene. Even had Rainbow Dash as a believable peacemaker and middlepony. Interesting how it is actually placed right after The Last Roundup and shows what might have happened if the three ponies involved were in a relationship that had to deal with the events in that episode.
