More reviews. Late because I didn’t feel like putting this together last night before going to bed. Combination laziness and depression. On the plus side, finally gotten through the backlog so some of these I’ve read semi-recently and going forward I should be putting up reviews just a day or so after I read a ponyfic.

Eh, disappointing. Mostly because of my expectations. Was hoping to get a whole bunch of world building and/or headcanon. Instead it was just a unfocused story with no real point. With a Twilight that doesn’t seem that young and a granny sparkle that didn’t seem to have much of a personality except a few cliche bits you would expect from being Twilight’s family.
Kind of fun. Pretty much just what the description gives you. Rainbow Dash says lewd things about Rarity where the unicorn hears, then Applejack dares Dash to make Rarity squeal. That’s about it.
Twilight just seemed really shallow. I stopped reading at the end of chapter one. Just didn’t have any desire to keep going. Part of that is current mood, but the writing is just kinda empty. Tried for whimsical, I think, but only managed empty fluff instead.
Soft thoughtful look at immortality. A discussion between just ascended alicorn Twilight and Princess Celestia. Nothing really deep, much of the same ideas found in many other immortality fics, but the writing is nice and I thought the characters were done well. Princess Celestia feels much more personable in this one, admitted ignorance and treating Twilight as, not quite an equal, but certainly as a friend rather than a student.
That was good lovecraftian fiction. No monsters, exactly, but the slow mounting horror as the protagonist learns more, and the ending especially. Though its not really a horror story either given there are no monsters and everypony except Twilight is just fine.
A much less sanity wrecking look at Pinkie Pie strangeness. I liked it quite a bit. Was a lot of fun to read. Vaguely reminded me of Drywall from the Scud comic books.
