Pony Stories 369

Started to watch JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure again. Mostly because it’s just so silly, yet so sincere. It’s basically hyper-sincere with everything it does. Over-the-top dramatics turned into an art form. I care nothing for the characters, but man is it fun to watch.

Changeling fic. No worldbuilding, well, a little I suppose. I quite enjoyed it despite that lack. It is a very nice character piece. Plus alternate versions of Vinyl Scratch are always to be encouraged. Even if its the standard relationship, the little bits we get shown don’t have the cliches other stories about the two of them often have. For someone who reads a lot of changeling fics, nothing really new here though I’d still say its a nice read. Would certainly recommend it to someone who hasn’t read as lot of that genre and is looking for more. As long as they enjoy shopping stories, because this has a lot in common with them as well. Though its closer to proper romance.

Sweet story. Wish there was more of it. Works as as self contained unit, but would also make a pretty good start to a changeling learning to fit into Ponyville longer story.

Sweet, if not exactly mind blowing original. It avoids cliche and managed to grab me. So I’d recommend it as a bittersweet and sad, but hopeful in the end romantic story.
