New Reviewers 22: Review Meltdown

01 Aug

I’m gonna need more movie titles after this one. Today’s reviewer to be added to the list is JustAnotherTimeLord. His are more often just simple recommendations rather than full reviews. Yet most of them have at least one line saying why you should read each story, which is pretty much my rule of thumb for adding to the list. His recommendations have the full gambit from single line ‘you should read this’ to multi-paragraph full reviews.

Had to go through 30+ pages of blogs. Been a while since I’ve done that. Always kind of weird, mentally I mean. Skimming through three years of someone’s life via their FimFiction blog. I try to focus on just finding reviews, but can’t help catching a bit of the other blog posts here and there. Always gets me in something of a melancholy mood. Especially when it’s the blog of someone as social and connected (for certain measures) like JustAnotherTimeLord who does (or has done?) lots of editing for people. Plus it kinda messes with my sense of time for a bit when I cram three years of blog fragments into my brain in the span of two hours. Probably take a while to regain mental equilibrium. Which, sadly, will not give me awesome gun-kata martial art skills.

Looks like a guy worth reading. Nice (from a personal point of view) to see someone else who doesn’t only do long, detailed reviews! One correction: Flash Fog isn’t mentioned in the first post you linked to. I haven’t read them all, so I don’t know whether he mentions it somewhere else.

Thanks for the catch. Was another casualty of having too many tabs open at once.
