I hope that Rara doesn’t give up the laser popstar thing completely. Obviously something ponies enjoyed and that style of music is something I enjoy. Maybe hire that manager back on just as effects and choreography and make sure he knows he doesn’t get any authority outside of that. Do maybe two different types of events, the flashy popstar stuff and the more from the heart ones. With one song of the other style mixed in.
And here is an amusing bit about reviewing the titles of pony fan fiction. I thought about linking it on the list, but was kind of on the fence about it and then realized that it’s pretty much all negative. Which isn’t bad in itself, but tips the balance towards not including it.

Eeeh, it could have been worse. The writing was a bit rough and the story was a bit generic. Could have been an interesting look at Princess Celestia, but the author doesn’t really do anything with it.
Didn’t get past the first chapter of this one. Writing was just too rough. Another example of why new writers get pounded with show don’t tell. Here’s an example from the story, and not nearly the worst.
“Oh…we’re really sorry, Twilight,” Sweetie Belle said as she walked up to her, eyes showing guilt from hurting her bigger sister, Rarity’s, good friend.
Which is a pity, because I was looking for some nice Twilight and Applejack shipping.
