Here is the third and final part of the list catch-up. The last three stories that I somehow missed up first impressions of back when I read them. Just did my usual ‘to read’ list check over on fimfiction.net and found out that two stories got completed since my last cheek. ^Yay^ One of which turns out to be a fairly huge one that a lot of other fan fiction I’ve read has at least referenced. So it’ll be nice to try reading it myself, see if I can get through all 300k words of it.

Now for part two of the catch-up list posts. Or something. Maybe I need to come up with cool project names. Ultra backscatter catch-up post extreme! Nah, too much effort. Anyway. Here are stories that I apparently never even wrote down reviews for. Just slipped through the cracks without so much as a notebook entry for them. So I’m reading them over again and writing down what I think. Then it’ll be time to update the big list with the stories I’ve read since work on it started.
Just about finished with the big master fanfic list of my reviews. Well, finished linking my reviews and the original stories anyway. However, I’ve discovered some stories that apparently never got my first impressions posted here. So this is the first of two catch-up posts. Today’s edition is first impressions that I wrote down in my notebook but apparently forgot to type up and post on the blog. Almost all of them are ones I read a while ago, some of them stories I barely remember. So this will be practically new for all of us. Let’s find out what I thought about these stories together.
Working on the giant list of fan fiction a bit more. Almost done putting in all the my review and story links. If anyone knows of any good other reviews of any of the stories, I’d love to be pointed in that direction. Don’t even need a specific link, just a link to the review person/site/whatever and I’ll go looking through the reviews to find the specific one myself.
Anyway, that’s not what I wanted to comment on. A few times I’ve run into stories that have been deleted or removed and I get a ‘story does not exist’ page on Fimfiction. Kinda weirds me out. I mean, I know the story exists. I downloaded and read it! Didn’t I? Anyway, a ‘story was removed’ message would be so much better. I don’t need existential worry while editing a silly list on the internet. Also ran into one story that the author changed the title of. Nothing major, just switched out one word. Which caused a bit of confusion. Anyway, pony below.
Another themed post. Found three complete Lunaverse stories and read them all in a row, so that’s what’s below. In non-pony news, I’d like you to check out this kickstarter. It’s a video game project that some friends of mine are part of the team working on it. Looks pretty good and I know the people involved have neat ideas. So if you’ve got some extra money you could do worse then supporting them. Or merely spreading the word, as I am doing here. Either way, brief pony stuff below the break.
