Pony Stories 737

Beep. Boop. That’s about all I got. That and the news that I’ll be going on a road trip for all of next week, so might actually update the blog daily once again! Which is kind of weird. Being away from my computer means I’ll be updating my online blog. Living in the future is weird like that sometimes.

Sunset’s Other Bits. by JediWyrm
Rarity catches Sunset naked one morning when she visits and gets all flustered about it. That’s pretty much the whole thing. Decently written. Enough so that I decided to move on to the next story about them having a relationship. Which is not going to be the next review! Ha!

Princess Cadance’s Official Princess Harem of Imported Humans from Another World by Skywriter
Hee hee. Okay, this one was funny as heck. I wasn’t sure at first, but the payoff is worth it. Huh. Just now getting the link and title for the review I realized that it was written by Skywriter. Which makes perfect sense. Nobody writes Cadance like he does.

Every Time A Pegasus Flaps Their Wings, A Kitten DIES by Estee
It’s has good Fluttershy writing and a dwarf fortress reference. Not sure what else you could want from a comedy with this title. Recommended for the laughs. It’s a dwarf fortress and pony crossover, how can you not enjoy it at least a little.

Pony Stories 736

I’ll be at the Boston Flower Show more or less all day today. Gotta get up nice and early for it too. Woo. I guess? Well, hopefully I’ll get some reading and/or writing done while the rest of the house is looking at all the cool plant and garden stuff.

So, Obita Dicta updated. No need for a review of course. It’s updated. You either have read it or will soon read it. It is good. I will say it is a little less original than his other works. Luna as spymaster is… not exactly a cliche, but not breaking new ground either. I actually like the idea I ran across a while back that Princess Cadance was Equestria’s spy-master and that’s why she was more or less a princess nobody ever heard of before the wedding.

So that’s why the review/reactions I typed up aren’t showing up in my blog! Because I typed them up in google documents and haven’t copied them over. Doh! (a deer, a female deer) That has been running around in my head for nearly a week now and I don’t know why.

Pony Stories 733

Still around, just still kind of lost in my own head. I just finished reading the Iron Hearts series again. Pony 40k still amusing. The last book wasn’t as good this time around. Which is… my fourth time reading it? So still good. Just didn’t have the absurd amusement as the others. At that point the mixture has stabilized into more or less 40k adventure with a splash of surreal comedy. Which I think I pointed out in my original review? Who knows.
