Pony Stories 171

As of last night I’ve started to read the Dangerous Game contest entries. Hopefully I’ll have gotten through them all and have reviews to start posting for them by the time the contest has gotten past the audience participation stage. Not sure if I should post the reviews for them before the reader votes are supposed to go in. I mean I’ve got at least a week worth of reviews backed up so it’s not exactly a immediate problem, but I’ll have to think about it. Or just put off the decision until I’ve forgotten about it and just post them as the next ones from the notebook.

Yep, I’ve run out of clever things to put up here. So, um, going to be playing D&D 5th edition pretty soon so I’ve been looking over the rules. Seems pretty cool. (one, two, three… yeah, that’s enough words to meet the intro quota). So check out some ponyfic reviews below the break.

Pony Stories 168

There seems to be another Brony documentary being made. Anyone know anything more about it? Not that I’m that interested in it, didn’t see the other one I’ve heard about after all. Just strikes me as odd that it is a subject that is getting this kind of attention. Once again my baseline for what is weird and what is normal seems to be quite skewed from the norm. I don’t expect documentaries on any of my other interests after all.

Pony Stories 167

To answer a author’s comment over on fimfiction. Sure, reviewers like like to be acknowledged, but the real attention grabber was asking for a ‘meh’ response from us. Especially on one of Aragon’s stories. I don’t think he could get a honest ‘meh’ reaction out of me if he tried. I’m still surprised that John Perry had a meh reaction to it.
