About that Hearth’s Warming Eve episode. I’m currently two or three episodes behind, so I’m gonna talk about one I’ve seen. Something that occurred to me was the big important boulder. Boulder is the name of Maud’s pet rock. Named after the big important rock at the farm? That’s either Maud having a lot of optimism for a rock, or the rock having grand plans for what it’s going to do. Only two short-ish reviews of two short ponyfics today. Still struggling with sleep and depression and trying to convince my brain that yes, staying up late is as usual ruining my mood and energy. Hopefully will be reading a bit more soon. Still considering tackling all completed books of Austeroth back to back as a week-long reading project.
Plus I bet I’ve got enough backed up review posts from other people to push the big master review list right over 10,000 links. Probably should knock that off the to-do list as well.

Basic story well executed. No real reason behind events, but doesn’t really need to be. Why did Sombra show up there and then? Who knows. Just roll with it. Nothing too shockingly original, but gets major points for it shipping Octavia and Vinyl in any way shape or form. A decent starter story for an author that needs more practice but is already avoiding most of the pitfalls bad fanfiction falls into.
